An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Engineering Department for an Engineering Administrator to join the Planned Maintenance Team.  Hovis Limited is a vertically integrated baking and flour milling business currently operated by The Gores Group as part of a stand-alone joint venture. The Company was created in April 2014 to help release new investment to upgrade its operational infrastructure and reinvigorate the Hovis brand, building on its rich heritage. 

You will be administrating planning work for the site Engineering Planned Maintenance Team using all resources, based on site priority and agreed maintenance planning processes.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Weekend activity planning and reviewing processes
  • Day to day ‘non-shutdown’ planning, issuing and reviewing of planned maintenance task completion
  • Spare parts coordination and issuing
  • Ownership of the computerised maintenance management system – improvements and conformance
  • Upkeep of library of controlled documents
  • Coordinating plant shutdowns, weekend and others
  • Develop a job library and keep up to date
  • Generate KPI reports on maintenance effectiveness
  • Chairs (own) the maintenance planning meetings
  • Plans 1-off shutdowns   with ownership of contractor control process

  • Realist – knows limitations

Desirable

  • Experience of working in an organisation where the maintenance planning role exists
  • Experience of use of CMMS
  • Knowledge of FMECA (Failure Modes and Effects Crytical Analysis)
  • Experience of continuous improvement with PPM effectiveness, scheduling and plans.
