We are now searching for a Engineering Team Leader to join our Engineering Team at our Bradford Site.  The role will be responsible for leading functional excellence in a team of line engineers focused on improvements, as well as generating and delivering plant reliability in all areas of the site.

 

Key duties include: -

  • Be the lead engineer on site in the absence of the engineering FLM’s (out of office hours)

  • Lead and motivate the line engineers and record work completion through set KPIs.

  • Responsible for work log completion and  shift handover

  • PPM & Corrective work compliance (Including maintenance systems improvements and supporting the team with IDhammer)

  • Co-own MBD reporting with manufacturing, ensuring full RCA conducted with robust solutions implemented/planned

  • To drive continuous improvement ideas and assist in cost savings initiatives or any projects given

  • Work closely with Manufacturing FLM’s to assist in delivering broader site KPI’s (Waste, OEE)

  • Full understanding of ratio > running > stopped maintenance

  • Provide specific detail of breakdown incidents and remedial actions to engineering FLM’s

  • Drive HSE through department  and accident management procedures, including accident investigate initiation

  • Manage external contractors on site out of office hours

 

The successful candidate mus havet: -

  • Recognised Engineering degree or apprenticeship

  • Bakery or food industry experiance (FMCG)

  • Engineering experience 

  • Good knowledge of H&S

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal

  • Team Player

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Be adaptable, flexible and demonstrate a willingness to accept changes in operational requirements at short notice

 

This is a full time, permanent position working shifts (4 on 4 off) based at our Bradford Bakery.
