An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Bradford Site. We're looking for a Hygiene Supervisor, to ensure compliance to Master Cleaning Schedule, continuously improving the hygiene standards and ensuring safety, legal and central requirements are always adhered to.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the Quality agenda, ensuring continued delivery of in specification products as monitored by PQE. This can encompass both start and end of life checks. 
  • Stakeholder in the site quality plan – supporting in the timely delivery of specific aspects of quality improvement projects. 
  • Provide guidance to all hygiene operatives on day-to-day hygiene activities 
  • Train the Hygiene Operators in safe and effective cleaning according to the Work instructions 
  • Provide technical guidance and hands on support during plant shutdown cleans 
  • Provide support to the Hygiene Manager managing, developing and leading their team 
  • Provide stand in cover for the Hygiene Manager 
  • Always promote safety first culture and ensure that safety is a daily discussion point with colleagues. 
  • Maintains GMP and Hygiene standards within designated areas of work. 
  • Training to Food safety Level 2. 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

 

Essential:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of hygiene and cleaning within a food manufacturing environment
  • Relevant industry experience including experience of legal requirements (manual handling, safe systems, HACCP etc).
  • Preparation of cleaning work instructions
  • Good knowledge of pest control procedures
  • Good verbal, numerate and writing skills
  • Be able to work at heights using Ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts etc
  • Full knowledge of COSHH and chemical usage and storage
  • Experience of carrying out training

Desirable:

  • Advanced food hygiene
  • Intermediate HACCP qualification
  • Baking knowledge and experience
