As our next Logistics Team Leader, you'll be instrumental in managing inbound and outbound loads to ensure the smooth running of the operation in the safest and most compliant way. Your remit will be to ensure availability of our products to the end customer in an efficient, safe, and compliant way.
To excel in this role, you must be patient, and resilient, work well under pressure, have problem-solving skills, and be reliable and accountable. Working with a team of logistics professionals, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and controlling the collection of products from our bakeries and 3rd party suppliers for onward dispatch to our customers while promoting a Health & Safety culture and ensuring drivers abide by Tacograph law and driver hours legislation.
You're not the type to struggle to react if things aren't going to plan or lack solutions focus. This role isn't a 9-5 job or admin-heavy. In this role, you will engage with your colleagues, manage conflicting priorities, and work at pace.

Do you have?

Previous experience in a transport environment

Previous experience of supervising drivers

Knowledge of driver hours of legislation
