We are now looking for a PART TIME Compliance Coordinator to join our team 4 days a week. 

 

The Role:

This role will lead the design, operation and maintenance of  the central technical compliance systems, responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Design and manage the central compliance management system 
  • Support the team in appropriate storage of documents
  • Communicate and share central information with Hovis manufacturing sites
  • Organise the information systems and data input, supporting management of the raw material supply chain including close liaison with external suppliers and internal departments
  • Operate the central compliance team testing schedules including collation of results to support interpretation and decision making
  • Liaising with Factory Technical, Procurement, Legal, NPD, TAM’s and Project Managers to ensure products are compliant and the correct data is used to complete customer and branded specifications and the generation of pack copies.


This role will also be the central point of contact for internal and external compliance and technical information queries and will provide support to specification team members. They will need to answer enquiries relating to the products managed including allergen, ingredient and nutritional information  and provide technical information for ingredient specifications including allSupport Hovis operational sites with sharing of central documents and information

 

This will also require them to work with the manufacturing sites to ensure product and process knowledge is maintained as well as ensuring that all documentation required for specification purposes such as HACCP documentation and analytical information is provided in a timely manner.ergen, country of origin, shelf life, and nutritional information, etc.

 

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:

  • Clear and proven experience in a Technical/Quality Assurance Administrator role within a FMCG environment. 
  • Experience of inputting Technical data into data management systems
  • Experience of organising and maintaining electronic files and documents
  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment with an understanding of food safety
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Great at building positive, productive relationships with internal and external parties - Team player
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadline and manage changing priorities
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours, when required.


Desirable:

  • Knowledge of food manufacturing customer specifications and retailer portals
  • Level 3 Food safety  
  • Level 2 HACCP training
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Food labelling Legislation
  • Audit training
