A great opportunity has arisen at Hovis we're looking for a Maintenance Planner at our site in Sebon to be part of a team providing essential maintenance operations, whilst maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards, in order to provide maximum manufacturing efficiency at Sebon.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Must be flexible with hours when required to meet the needs of the business
  • GSCE Grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent
  • Flexible and able to manage a number of concurrent priorities
  • Proven Engineering experience & aptitude
  • Self motivated
  • Full driving licence
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Risk Assessments involvement
  • Site Permits to Work process
  • Basic Knowledge of RCA process
  • Pest Control Awareness
  • Multi-skilled engineering background
  • Basic Food Hygiene
  • Knowledge of process equipment & plant
  • Able to self manage and prioritise own work load to satisfy commitments and meet agreed deadlines

 

Desirable

  • Previous Engineering supervisory experience
  • Previous engineering experience within a large bakery business Knowledge of PLC control applications
  • Bakery experience
  • BTEC diploma in relevant subject
  • Strong engineering competence on automated production plant and auxiliary equipment
  • Above basic level of computer literacy
  • Audit experience
  • Experienced in the use of RCA tools
  • Experienced in written ALARP Risk Assessments
  • Issue full range of Site Permit to Works
  • Trained & experienced in  ALARP Risk Assessment generation
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene
  • Experienced in Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with CoSHH
  • Experience of continuous improvement
